Crew Carbon | Drone Video + Photography

Brooklyn, NY

I can’t tell how how cool it is to see our content out there in the world. Six years in, we’ve had that moment a lot, but there’s still something about seeing a new client put the content to use for the first time that just feels great. Before diving into this page to learn more about this project, please take a look at Crew Carbon to see how they integrated our work into their marketing efforts - so neat!

This shoot was sick because it was in a spot I’m not sure we would have found ourselves in otherwise. For most of us, we don’t typically find ourselves filming wastewater infrastructure, but it turned out to be one of the more unique shoots we’ve had in a while.

Crew Carbon is doing some really awesome stuff for the environment and we’re proud to partner with teams like this!

Video + Photos Produced for Crew Carbon

We delivered raw footage to Crew Carbon so they could do with it what they wanted. We picked a few of our favorites!

Challenge x Crew Carbon:

Crew Carbon needed a clean, usable library of video content that could work across web, social, and digital platforms.

Instead of a single finished video, the focus was on capturing high-quality 4K b-roll and drone footage across multiple wastewater treatment facilities in Connecticut and Massachusetts. The footage needed to feel consistent, clear, and adaptable across formats.

On top of that, we were working across multiple locations in a short timeframe, including two sites in one day and a third location as a follow-up shoot. Each facility had its own layout, scale, and constraints, so the challenge was creating footage that felt cohesive across all of them.

It’s not your typical Boston video production environment, but that’s what made it interesting. We needed to capture something technical and industrial in a way that still felt intentional and visually clean.

Video Production x Crew Carbon :

We spent a full shoot day capturing footage across the New Haven and Stamford locations, followed by a half-day shoot in Fall River.

Using an FX6 handheld and a Sony FX3 on a gimbal, we focused on capturing smooth, controlled motion throughout each facility. Alongside that, we used a DJI Mavic 3 Pro to capture drone footage that helps establish the scale and layout of each site.

Everything was shot in 4K and framed for both horizontal and vertical formats to ensure the footage could be used across web, social, and digital platforms.

Our goal was to keep the visuals clean, steady, and easy to work with. We focused on consistent movement, clear compositions, and capturing a wide range of coverage so the footage could be repurposed in different ways over time.

In the end, we delivered a full library of raw footage, along with a string-out of select shots to highlight some of the strongest visuals from the production.
