Hearth | Brand Story Video Production

Boston, MA

This project opened our eyes to a world we hadn’t fully considered before stepping into it. Senior homelessness is a quiet crisis, and meeting the residents at Hearth brought it into sharp focus for Sam and me. Senior homelessness is an issue we hadn’t fully understood before this project, and spending time with the residents and staff shifted something for us as a team. Hearing their stories, sitting with them, and seeing the faces behind this mission changed the way we think about the work we do and the work they do every day.

The people we met weren’t just interview subjects. They were open, generous, and deeply genuine, and we formed connections that will stay with us long after this video. This project reminded us why we choose to partner with nonprofits we believe in. It was an honor to help share Hearth’s impact, and the experience left a real mark on us both personally and professionally.

Video Produced for Hearth

Challenge x Hearth:

Victory Programs serves individuals and families in crisis — people facing homelessness, substance use, HIV/AIDS, and other challenges that require compassion, stability, and individualized support. Their work is wide-reaching, deeply human, and rooted in dignity.

The challenge for this project was turning that breadth into a single narrative. They needed a video that could:

  • Tell their story clearly and authentically

  • Highlight the impact of their staff and programs

  • Center the real voices of participants

  • Balance emotion with optimism

  • Fit the tone of their annual fundraising event

The story needed to feel honest, grounded, and hopeful — never performative.Video Production x babe. :

We spent a half day filming on location in Carlisle, MA, capturing a variety of lifestyle moments that could be cut into both the main app banner video and the additional social assets.

Video Production x Hearth:

To tell Hearth’s story with honesty and depth, we centered the video around interviews with residents and staff. Their experiences shaped the narrative and helped us highlight both the mission — addressing senior homelessness — and the impact Hearth has across Boston.

During pre-production, we worked closely with their team to build a focused Creative Plan that included the shot list, script outline, interview structure, and overall tone. We coordinated logistics, locations, and a pre-shoot sync to ensure a smooth production day.

We filmed over one full shoot day in Boston, capturing interviews and b-roll across Hearth offices, residences, and additional locations. Our Producer/Director and DP worked with a two-camera setup, full lighting, and audio support to create a comfortable, respectful environment for every participant.

In post, we crafted the three-minute brand story using transcript-based editing, cinematic pacing, music, and simple motion graphics. After one revision round, we delivered the final video and all raw footage. The piece debuted at Hearth’s 2025 gala.
