Challenge x The Kendall Hotel:

The Kendall Hotel needed a video that could capture a live surprise event without missing the emotion of the moment. Because the Manager of the Year reveal would only happen once, it was important to have strong camera coverage, clean audio, and a clear plan for documenting the buildup, the reaction, the speeches, and the celebration that followed.

At the same time, the video needed to feel like more than simple event coverage. The final piece had to reflect the personality of the hotel itself — warm, charming, thoughtful, and full of character.

The challenge was to balance documentary-style event coverage with a more polished hospitality video approach, making sure the final edit felt personal, cinematic, and true to the energy of the day.

Video Production x The Kendall Hotel:

We worked with The Kendall Hotel team to plan coverage for the event, including the reveal moment, interviews, celebration b-roll, and visual details throughout the space. Production included a multi-camera setup to capture the key moments from multiple angles, along with professional audio for speeches and interviews.

In addition to the event itself, we captured b-roll of the hotel, restaurant, food, staff, and guest-facing spaces to help give the final video a stronger sense of place. These details helped connect the celebration to the larger hospitality experience at The Kendall Hotel.

The edit was built around the excitement of the surprise, using interviews, sound-ups, reaction shots, and b-roll to create a piece that felt both celebratory and polished. The final deliverables included a longer recap video and a shorter sizzle cut designed for easier sharing.
