That’s because no two video projects are exactly the same. At Bunker Hill Media, every project is priced out individually based on scope, creative needs, and how the final video will be used.
That said, we know it’s helpful to have some ballpark numbers - especially if you’re budgeting for your first branded video or comparing production partners. What Makes a Great Brand Video? (2025 Boston Guide)
So, you’re thinking about creating a brand video. First of all — good move. In 2025, video remains one of the most powerful tools for building trust, connection, and visibility online. According to Wyzowl’s latest Video Marketing Statistics report, 91% of businesses use video as a marketing tool, and 88% say video gives them a positive ROI.
But what actually makes a brand video great?
At Bunker Hill Media, we’ve worked with dozens of businesses in Boston (and beyond) to bring their stories to life on screen. Some brand videos land with impact, and others fall flat — and it almost always comes down to the same core ingredients.
Here’s what we’ve learned.
Sony FX30 vs FX2: Comparison Guide
Cutting to the chase here- I think the FX2 will put the FX30 out of business. I’m confused by the release of the FX2 because of how close it is to the FX30… it’s just a tiny bit better where I don’t know why you’d purchase the FX30 anymore…then again I’d probably get the FX30 ONLY so I don’t have that annoying viewfinder in my way.
I think that these are both really good starter cameras, but if you’re seriously looking to start a career in filmmaking and videography know that at some point you will have to upgrade to the FX3 or higher.
Sony FX2 vs FX3: Comparison Guide
If you’re looking for a quick answer - here is my take: If you prioritize photo and are looking for a camera that can take video get the FX2. If you prioritize video and take photos here and there, like we do, get the FX3. If you are a serious video production company - don’t expect to rely on that FX2 as your main workhorse to get your job done the right way.
There is no need to rush to the store to replace your FX30 with an FX2. I think there is no harm in doing that because I think there is a better case for comparison between those two cameras vs the FX3 - but that’s for another blog!
Today we are comparing the FX3 and the FX2 so you can make a really informed choice on which will be better for your production needs.
As a video-first production company based in Boston, we’re still team FX3. But let’s be clear: the FX2 is still a very cool camera with serious potential for hybrid shooters, content creators, and anyone who wants a powerful full-frame camera with incredible stills capabilities.
Also… I think the eye piece would drive me absolutely nuts.
Sony FX3A vs FX6: A Detailed Comparison
As Sony continues to expand its Cinema Line offerings, two models often up for comparison are the Sony FX3A and the Sony FX6. Both cameras offer full-frame sensors, cinematic color science, and impressive low-light capabilities—but they serve slightly different types of shooters. In this blog, we break down the key differences between the FX3A and the FX6 to help you understand how they stack up.

Three Types of Video Every Boston Small Business Should Have in 2025
If you're a small business owner in Boston, you already know that having a great website matters. But what separates a good digital presence from a great one? More often than not, it's video.
Video builds trust faster than any other medium. It brings your story to life, shows potential clients who you really are, and explains what you do in a way that feels human, clear, and engaging. The best part? You don’t need to go viral or become a TikTok creator to make it work. You just need the right videos in the right places.
Here are three essential videos every Boston small business should have in 2025:
What Should Be in a Great Website Video? (Hint: It’s Not Just B-Roll)
If you’re thinking about adding video to your website, chances are you’ve already heard that it’s one of the best investments you can make. A great video can make your homepage feel dynamic, help potential clients understand your business faster, and build trust before a single conversation happens. But here’s the thing: it’s not just about visuals.
At Bunker Hill Media, we’ve worked with small businesses all over Boston to create high-impact brand videos for their websites. And time after time, we see people get caught up in the look of the video—the drone shots, the slow motion, the fancy transitions—without thinking deeply about what it’s actually saying.
So, what should actually be in a great website video?
Let’s break it down.
Getting Ready for Your First Brand Video? A Boston Video Production Company’s Advice
If you’re a small business owner creating a video for your brand - whether it’s an About Us, a homepage intro, or a leadership message - chances are, you’ll need to speak on camera. That can feel daunting if you’ve never done it before.
At Bunker Hill Media, we’ve helped tons of business owners prep for their first on-camera interview. Most of them aren’t actors or influencers. They’re people just like you—focused on running a great business and wanting to show up professionally for their audience.

Why the Sony FX3 Is One of the Most Powerful (and Affordable) Cameras for Professional Filmmaking in 2025
If you’ve been eyeing the Sony FX3 for your next professional video projector just wondering why everyone’s talking about it you’re not alone. The Sony FX3 is officially on the Netflix Approved Camera List, putting it in the same league as high-end gear used on blockbuster productions. But what makes this compact, full-frame camera so special?
To start, it offers incredible 4K image quality, 15+ stops of dynamic range, and unmatched low-light performance - all in a body that’s small enough to shoot handheld for hours. That alone is a dream for solo shooters and agile production teams. But even more exciting? Major feature films like The Creator by Gareth Edwards were shot on the FX3. Yes, a camera you can buy at Best Buy was used to make one of the most visually stunning sci-fi films of the decade.
What to Look for in a Boston Video Production Company
When we’re out filming in Boston - whether it’s a brand video, a corporate shoot, or fast-paced event coverage—there’s one camera that rarely leaves our hands: the Sony FX3.
